SIDMOUTH TRIP

BLAGDON JUNE 7
Event is PICNIC IN THE PARK: concert in aid of
Blagdon Tsunami Support Project, good local charity.
Location is Blagdon Pumping Station alongside
Blagdon Lake. Blagdon is 30 mins from Clifton.
Come out of Bristol on A38, past airport. Down
hill, then follow sings LEFT to Blagdon on A 368.
In village, past Queen Adelaide pub, then take
LEFT turn, follow signs to Blagdon Lake and Visitor Centre.
Down hill, then you'll see Lake on right, gate
on left to big red-brick buildings.
Parking on lawn.
Gates open 4.30: families welcome (childrens
entertainer).
Bristol Wind Band will set up at 6.30 please, to
play 7.00 till 8.00.
On the lawn, no stage. Chairs will be provided
and mic for announcements. Bring music stands, please.
Also, bring your own booze and picnic, no beer
tent! (5 good pubs in Blagdon).
It'll be a nice day out if the sun shines
