BRISTOL CONCERT WIND BAND – LEARNER’S GROUP

The Learner’s Group caters for the musical needs of COMPLETE BEGINNERS, i.e. those with no previous musical knowledge whatsoever.

THE COURSE

It provides an opportunity to make friends and learn to play an instrument in an anxiety free "band-room" type atmosphere.

Hundreds of successful ex-students can testify to the success of its combined individual tuition and group playing approach.

It has been running for many years and can claim a high success rate.

INSTRUMENTS

Those taught include trumpet, trombone, euphonium, flute, clarinet, saxophone, tuba, double bass and drums.

For those who have no instrument, either because they are undecided as to what they want to play, or for some other reason, we have instruments on loan.
THE FREE INSTRUMENT LOAN SCHEME is provided courtesy of Bristol Concert Wind Band.

Although the course has now started, anyone with a little knowledge can still join.
We recommend that you come along and see if you fit in.

Sessions are held in REDLAND LIBRARY, Which is in Whiteladies Rd. on the corner of Whatley Rd.
